Dependents of Prairie Energy Cooperative members are eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship for tuition at a two-year or four-year college in the fall of 2010 (including vocational and technical schools). Two Scholarships will be awarded - one will be chosen from Prairie Energy Cooperative and another from the entire Corn Belt Power Cooperative service territory.

The scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence, work experience, and school and community activities. Students entering a full-times graduate or undergraduate cours of study may request an application from Prairie Energy Cooperative by contacting Greg Anderson at (515) 532-2805 or (800) 728-0013.

Applications are due by February 1st and the winner will be chosen by April 1st.
